Joshua Uhl is an architect and Design Director at Toshiko Mori Architect in New York City. His professional work includes a diverse range of scales from single family residential to large institutional buildings and master plans. Projects include the Syracuse CoE for Syracuse University, 22 Windsor Street for NIBRI in Cambridge, NYU master plan, and the Juilliard School Addition at Lincoln Center. Josh is a licensed architect in the State of New York. He is NCARB Certified, LEED certified, and a member of the American Institute of Architects.
At Columbia GSAPP, Josh is an Adjunct Assistant Professor, and the Coordinator for Visual Studies. Josh received a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Miami University and a Master of Architecture from Columbia University. He was a recipient of the SOM Travelling Fellowship, the Charles McKim Prize, a Kinne Fellowship, and the AIA Allwork Scholarship.
