Just Another Farm

Food scarcity and flooding have been two prominent challenges facing the neighborhood surrounding Bushwick Inlet Park. Our project tackles these two issues by proposing to build a new landscape structure that utilizes topographical forms to incorporate a flood resiliency strategy with an urban farming program. Additionally, existing buildings on site are utilized to generate solar energy and to introduce exciting rooftop spaces. The integration of water, farming, energy, and mobility systems allows our project to realize efficiencies and synergies between our various programs.
