NYCHA Carver Houses Building 13 was used as the site for Rendering Exploration. I chose to manipulate certain aspects about the building with the tools available to me while modeling in Rhino and Blender to create a series of renders. With the addition of balconies, isolation, and lush overgrowth, these images represent the spatial qualities faced by the building and community who lives there. Standard NYCHA Housing has been remodeled as a forgotten, but thriving area where life has been left to grow.
