Robert Herrmann

Robert F. Herrmann, a partner in the New York City law firm Menaker & Herrmann LLP, acts as counsel to a number of architects, interior designers, owners and contractors. Herrmann is a graduate of Yale College and Columbia Law School, and a professional affiliate of the New York City Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, having led numerous seminars for design professionals on various topics. He is on the American Arbitration Association and New York State Supreme Court panels of construction mediators. In addition to being an Adjunct Professor at the Columbia GSAPP, Bob has also been a guest speaker in professional practice classes at the University of Pennsylvania, City College, Pratt Institute and The New School. He is the lead author of Law of Architects: What You need to Know, published by W.W. Norton in 2012.
