As a response to the tragic blast and to reconnect Beirut globally, this strategy assumes reoccupation of the city as quickly as possible while reaffirming and enhancing its cultural production. Essential to this proposal is building a memorial park in the port while adding cultural functions through a scaffolding concept that engages cultural venues within Gemmayzeh.
