Generational Bridge Housing

The Generational Bridge proposes a hybrid typology for housing meant to enrich the lives of local Melrose residents. The design links towers of micro units and flexible apartments with senior and resident services. In this hybrid geometry, eight towers share a plinth and semipermeable courtyard, creating a microcosm of and echo chamber for urban life on the block.
