The renovation of the Newburgh Rowing Club embraces the relationship of the industrial past and contemporary future of a boathouse, in a careful and poetic way. The building preserves an industrial character and thematizes the idea of “the procession” between the existing building and the two extensions in a linear fashion through materiality and program.
