This project looks at architecture as a point of intersection between geological movement and human activity. The site sits on unstable volcanic ground where the earth is constantly moving, often in ways we cannot directly perceive.
Architecture is treated as a recording medium. Cracks, layered ruins, empty spaces, and repairs are read as evidence of slow ground movement, sudden evacuation, and long-term displacement. Evidence is not only what is visible, but also what is missing.
By combining point clouds with live seismic data, the project challenges the idea of architecture as solid and stable. Instead, it shows architecture as something that continuously registers change.
