ode to the Franklin ave S

Project by Nihan Caydamli

A love letter to the Franklin ave S train, built in 1928 and rehabillitated in 1963. Spanning only four stations in brooklyn, this train runs entirely above ground. Each of its four stations serve very different communities and connects two of the most frequented inter-borough lines. This project explores the layers, nuances and quirks of each stop and its regular users through vignettes of life moving around it.
