This abandoned train station in New Jersey is now separated from the surrounding ecosystem and has lost its vitality for a long time. There are only some weeds growing in it and there are not many other signs of life. Because of the severe local ecological environment and the need for the protection of endangered birds, our project aims to reshape the ecosystem of this area. By introducing the surrounding coastline, changing the topography and geology to form different micro-environments, and planting spartina and phragmites with the power of nature, to create marshy wetland systems which suitable for endangered birds. At the same time, it was rebuilt based on the original train station, integrating architecture and nature to create an environment where humans, animals and nature coexist.
