The GSAPP Career Services website provides access to career development information including events, job search resources, licensure, and employer data.

Events
Career Services hosts a regular series of events ranging from career fairs, workshops, alumni networking events and panel discussions.

• Tuesday Talks is an opportunity for the GSAPP Students to connect with the larger Alumni community for informational mentorship this summer. The program pairs current students with alumni professionals for hour-long, one-on-one conversations about career development. The most recent session took place on August 3, 2021.
  
• Alumni Conversations invites alumni to introduce their work and engage with current GSAPP students. Michael K. Chen ‘01 M.Arch delivered the most recent lecture on February 17, 2021.
  
• Avery Workshops is a series of professional development programming that responds to the creative and professional practice of GSAPP graduates. Rajiv Fernandez ‘10 M.Arch, Aimee Chang ‘06 M.Arch, and Nasozi Kakembo ‘08 MSUP delivered presentations for the most recent session on July 15, 2021.
• Career Fairs provide firms and GSAPP students the opportunity to connect. The most recent session open to M.Arch, M.S.AAD, and M.S.AUD students was hosted on March 19, 2021.
  

Job Search Resources

• Engage is GSAPP’s Career Services Platform which includes a job board.
  
• The A4560 Professional Practice course facilitates a discussion among GSAPP students on current state of the profession, where it is headed, and how to shape its future. It also gives students an understanding of the framework and processes by which designs become buildings.
  
• The internship elective course (1.5 credits) provides students with the opportunity to apply their expertise and skills in a real world setting.
  

Awards and Fellowships

• The GSAPP Incubator Prize supports projects led by GSAPP alumni that bridge critical discourse with active practice and engagement.
  
• Awards and Fellowships are offered to exceptional students at the culmination of their academic program to support further research.
