Charlie Stewart

Adjunct Assistant Professor

Charlie Stewart is the Assistant Director of Real Estate Development at St. Nicks Alliance, a Brooklyn-based non-profit community developer. He leads a team responsible for the acquisition, planning, development, and construction of affordable housing and community facilities. During his five-year tenure, St. Nicks has developed over 780 units of housing totaling $220 million and has assembled a pipeline consisting of 2,290 units representing over $877 million in future cost. Charlie has managed several projects with multiple JV partners, written successful RFP responses, and led two ULURP processes.

Before joining St. Nicks, Charlie worked in leasing and asset management at Edens and Boston Properties in Washington, D.C. Charlie holds a Master of Science in Urban Planning from Columbia GSAPP and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Colorado College.
