Jack Heaney

Jack is Founder and Managing Principal of Fulcrum Properties, a vertically integrated affordable housing development, architecture, and finance platform based in New York City. He is also Principal of Fulcrum Architecture D.P.C., the firm’s design arm, and of Fulcro Properties LLC, an affiliated WBE-certified entity.

Trained as both an architect and developer, Jack founded Fulcrum in 2010 and is currently leading the development of more than 800 affordable homes across Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and the Hudson Valley — frequently in partnership with nonprofit organizations and faith-based institutions — with more than 150 units delivered to date.

Prior to founding Fulcrum, Jack worked as a project architect at RKT&B Architects and later at Steven Winter Associates, where he specialized in sustainable multifamily housing and consulted to national homebuilders, NYC affordable housing developers, and government agencies including HUD and NYSERDA. He began his career with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh.

Jack earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Illinois and a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia GSAPP.
