Associate Professor of Professional Practice
Christopher Munsell (’16 MSRED) is an Associate Professor of Professional Practice at Columbia GSAPP, focusing on Real Estate Finance. He has been an Adjunct Assistant Professor at GSAPP since 2017, teaching both core and elective Finance courses, and has assisted in restructuring and developing courses in the program. He is the founder of The Bromfield Project, a real estate consulting and capital markets service platform aimed at wealth generation through democratizing access to real estate while providing third party consulting services with a special focus on complex capital structures. He is interested in new forms of financial structuring and investment opportunities that feature a lower barrier to entry. Prior to Bromfield, Chris has more than a decade of institutional experience in both the debt and equity sides of the business where he has structured and managed more than $3 billion in real estate across all asset types. Chris holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from GSAPP and Bachelor of Science from Boston University.
