Johnny Din

Johnny Din is the Chief Executive Officer at Cycamore Capital ("Cycamore"), a real estate acquisition, development, and management platform in New York City focusing on value-add real estate investments. Mr. Din has worked with real estate owner/operators, family offices, foundations, private equity funds, and large privately-held and publicly-traded companies.

Prior to Cycamore, he was a Principal at Clarett International, a division of The Clarett Group focusing on cross-border real estate transactions. Mr. Din has also served as an Advisor to international real estate companies, including Singapore-listed OUE Limited (SGX-ST: “OUE”) and Brazil developer STX. Prior to New York City, Mr. Din was in Boston with a Harvard University-funded venture focusing on finance and business development, working with strategic partners in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and the Americas. Previously, he was a Project Manager with a non-profit organization in Sao Paulo, Brazil, serving 10 countries across South America. Mr. Din has also spent time in Deloitte and The Walt Disney Company in Los Angeles. He began his career in the Investment Banking Division of Lehman Brothers, where he advised fortune 500 companies and private equity clients on M&A and financing efforts.

Mr. Din graduated honors with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from University of California Los Angeles, and a Riordan MBA Fellow from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He holds a Certificate in Hotel Operations from New York University and a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University, where he was the President of the MSRED Student Council, a Pension Real Estate Association Scholar, a Wells Fargo GDS Scholar, a William Kinne Fellow, and a recipient of the Scholastic Performance Award for the top 3 graduates.

Mr. Din is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University and an Adjunct Instructor at New York University in real estate finance and global real estate, and is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.
