John Bazzano

Adjunct Associate Professor

John Bazzano’s career in Banking spans over 30 years including service at The Chase Manhattan Bank, Bank of New York, and Wells Fargo. In 1993, after four years within Chase’s Middle Market Real Estate group, John successfully completed Chase Manhattan’s Credit Training Program. Upon completion, he joined Chase’s Middle Market Corporate Lending group as a Commercial Banker in White Plains, NY. In 1995, John returned to the Commercial Real Estate industry by joining the Real Estate Division of the Bank of New York as a Relationship Manager. Soon thereafter, John was promoted to Team Leader of the NYC Boroughs lending team. In 2005, John joined Wachovia’s newly formed NYC Real Estate lending team as a Senior Vice President; eventually becoming a Team Leader, post the Wells Fargo acquisition. John returned to JPMorgan in 2011 as an Executive Director in Real Estate Banking.

John is experienced in all facets of banking and real estate finance. He has led and arranged real estate financings for numerous commercial projects including; construction loans, community development projects, term loans, bond financings, and unsecured credit facilities.

He earned an undergraduate degree from SUNY Brockport in 1984 and a Master’s of Business Administration degree from Pace University in 1989.

From 2005 through 2015, John was an Adjunct Professor at New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate where he taught Real Estate Finance within the Masters of Science Program. In addition, John has volunteered as an in-class room teacher with Junior Achievement

John lives in Connecticut with his wife and three daughters.
