C. Marisa Rodriguez

Marisa Rodriguez is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Real Estate at Columbia GSAPP.

Marisa works as a Low Income Housing Tax Credit syndicator at Hudson Housing Capital, a private syndication firm founded in 1998 that has raised over $600B in tax credit. In this role, Marisa has helped finance more than 1,200 units of affordable housing, syndicating more than $200M of tax credit equity. Prior to joining HHC, Marisa led expansion efforts for an innovation-focused coworking space, managing strategic direction-setting for the company’s local and international growth through all stages of the development process, and as a landscape architect, where she assisted on the design and construction of high-profile urban parks and university campuses. Throughout her career, Marisa has pursued roles that emphasize the importance of diverse, well-designed cities to support and create neighborhoods where people thrive.

Marisa holds a MS in Real Estate Development with honors from Columbia GSAPP and a BA in Urban Studies from Brown University.
