Lucia Koch is a book with a monographic character about the artist Lucia Koch (Porto Alegre / RS), whose production stands out in the scope of the arts, nationally and internationally.

Since the mid-1990s, the artist’s production has been marked by her interest in interventions in domestic and public spaces - her works have come to cover different contexts, such as a Turkish bath at the Istanbul Biennial (2003) or a tissue sales area for Attacked in Nagoya for the Aichi Triennale (2010). This book presents a selection of iconic works in the context of Lucia’s production, offering the public an in-depth analysis of their artistic processes.

Dan Cameron, curator of the 13th edition of the Biennale of Cuenca (Ecuador, 2016) and Artistic Director of the 8th Biennial of Istanbul, will participate in the publication with the participation of renowned exponent of curatorship and international art criticism. (2003); And Jochen Volz, director of the São Paulo Pinacoteca, curator of the 32nd São Paulo Biennial (Brazil, 2016).

Lucia Koch é um livro de caráter monográfico sobre a artista gaúcha Lucia Koch (Porto Alegre/RS), cuja produção se destaca no âmbito das artes nacional e internacionalmente.

Desde meados dos anos 1990, a produção da artista tem sido marcada pelo interesse por intervenções em espaços domésticos e públicos – suas obras chegaram a abranger diferentes contextos, como um banho turco na Bienal de Istambul (2003) ou uma área de venda de tecidos por atacado em Nagoya para a Trienal de Aichi (2010). Este livro apresenta uma seleção de trabalhos emblemáticos no contexto da produção de Lucia, oferecendo ao público uma profunda análise sobre seus processos artísticos.

A publicação conta com a participação de renomados expoentes da curadoria e da crítica de arte internacional para a produção dos principais textos do livro: Dan Cameron, curador da 13ª edição da Bienal de Cuenca (Equador, 2016) e Diretor Artístico da 8ª Bienal de Istambul (2003); e Jochen Volz, diretor da Pinacoteca de São Paulo, curador da 32ª Bienal de São Paulo (Brasil, 2016).
