Jerome Haferd

Fri, Apr 7, 2023    12pm

A lecture by Jerome Haferd, followed by a discussion with GSAPP Faculty David Eugin Moon.

Jerome W Haferd is a licensed architect, public artist, and educator based in Harlem, NYC, and the Hudson Valley. He is the principal of Jerome Haferd, RA, and co-founder of the award-winning studio BRANDT : HAFERD Architecture with K Brandt Knapp. Haferd’s expanded practice critically engages built environment projects in both urban and rural contexts, often looking to marginalized histories to unlock a new imaginary for architecture, design, and cultural infrastructure.

Organized as a part of the Speculative City: Crisis, Turmoil, and Projections in Architecture seminar led by David Eugin Moon.
