The Timber Living Lab selectively harvests trees from forest owners in Newburgh and uses the crop to produce hardwood CLT for the purpose of refurbishing idle properties. Panel primary cuts and off-cuts serve different emerging commercial and not-for-profit markets specifically to help the community rebuild the urban core.
