The Lighthouse Project

Our project explores the possibility of architecture to absorb media to become a medium. It examines the influence of human actions physically and digitally on and within a space to transform an obsolete architectural object into a prosthetic device that expands bodies beyond their individual spatiality. By turning the night sky in a communicational spectacle, entertainment becomes a force that enables an interconnected network of media, artifacts, and social interaction.
