21st-century capitalism has eroded the distinction between day and night. Artificial light—with its capacity of keeping us awake—guarantees ceaseless and compulsory routines of working, consuming, moving, and communicating. This project for a power nap capsule turns artificial light into a tool helping to sleep—anytime, anywhere.
