This design allows for continuous movement (horizontally and vertically) for children; the design encourages play as a loop of wonder and never-ending motion. Four colors represent different organizational bands which contain individual programmatic elements depicted in the models and on the drawings. Pink represents a vertical playground which also operates as a facade for the school. Blue represents classrooms and secondary-support teaching spaces including a library, dance studio, art studio, and little-gym. Orange represents the building’s vertical circulation network. This network is subdivided into an interior playground and general circulation pathways. Last, green-colored spaces, which look out towards a garden and feature a green roof, include spaces for staff and parents including offices, lounges, a kitchen, and conference rooms.
