This project aim to focus on the relationship between Architectural and seasonality. Repair Garden—a community aquatic garden that restores both the damaged water ecology and the once-vibrant social common ground at Lake Ronkonkoma. Composed of a modular wetland system woven across the lake’s surface, the flexible floating field moves gently with the water, cultivating a renewed communal landscape while purifying the water column and enhancing habitats for native aquatic life. The architecture operates as a weaving machine, where modular devices function as simple toolkits that foster shared gardening experiences. These devices can also be repurposed for simple ball play along the shoreline during off-season.
