Stitching the Scar

Project by: Ayesha de Sousa, Dzormo Naa Cofie, Juliana Leite, Vanessa Gallego

Stitching the scar questions the border as a line and instead reimagines it as a zone of connection, created through sharing the landscape. Our mission is not just to create a provocation, but also through design, to open up the space to reimagine the border wall. We stitch anchors, ecological and social, already embedded in the site to design the conditions for shared healing.
