Hungry Dasher and Connected Environments

Hungry Dasher
Being able to link Doordash to my smart lights at home allowed Doordash’s order statuses to affect the color of light in my room. The larger benefit is as we begin to see smaller tasks such as picking up groceries all go online in some way we are able to affect our cities all the while sitting in our homes.

Connected Environments
Connected Environments was an attempt to emulate the sidewalk activities into an inner room of the apartment. While we can hear people outside certain subtle changes in the outside environment were not quite possible. Connected environments addresses this issue using computer vision to trigger an animation of a shadow walking past the window every time a person walked past a window on the street side.“
