Dean’s Global Real Estate Visiting Professor

Jay Cross is a seasoned real estate development executive with a proven record of leading some of the world’s most ambitious projects. As President of Related Hudson Yards, he helped deliver one of the most iconic urban transformations in North America, turning a former industrial site into a $16 billion destination for global business, culture, and hospitality. He went on to serve as President of Howard Hughes Holdings, where he led the repositioning and growth of some of America’s most successful mixed-use communities, and a new 37,000-acre city, Teravalis, Arizona.

His leadership experience also extends to sports and entertainment, having served as Arena Project Director of the Toronto Raptors, President of the Miami Heat, and President of the New York Jets, where he spearheaded the development of state-of-the-art arenas, stadiums, and training facilities.

Outside of his professional life, Cross is a three-time Olympic sailor and Commodore of the New York Yacht Club - 2024-2025.
