Ian Friedman is a technologist focused on the intersection of technology and the built
environment.
He is currently a software engineer at Two Sigma, building software for data-driven real estate investment. Prior to Two Sigma, Ian was a data engineer and product manager at Convex, building enterprise software for the commercial services industry. He has also built software for real estate acquisitions and asset management at Cadre, and developed a spatial analytics engine at Gensler.
Ian has an MS in Computational Design from Carnegie Mellon University, where his
research focused on real estate technology and automated valuation of real estate. He
also holds a BA in architecture and a minor in computer science from Carnegie Mellon
University.
