Group Therapy: Post-Election Reflections & Action

Tue, Nov 15, 2016    5pm

As we begin to navigate the future of the United States under a Trump leadership - we invite you to join us for an open discussion on the election results as students, citizens and designers.

The event will be organized in two parts: I. An open discussion to express thoughts and feelings. We encourage people to bring their personal input to the table (in a respectful and sensitive manner) II. A brain-storm on what actions we, as people, GSAPPers, and designers can take to encourage unity, and a safe space for all members of our community and our society.

We encourage you to bring examples, projects, readings in which design and architecture have successfully or unsuccessfully engaged with the political environment. This will assist in having an informed conversation about the realities of our impact.

Hosted & moderated by FARM, QSAPP, GSAPPXX, A-Frame, & SOCA

refreshments will be served
a special thank you to the GSAPP administration for their support
open to GSAPP and Columbia University students only
