The Lecture in Planning Series (LiPS): Panel: The Future of Zoning and Its Planning Impacts

Tue, Feb 17    1:15pm

The Future of Zoning and Its Planning Impacts
The panel will be a discussion among current and former practitioners and planning officials on recent initiatives like the City of Yes, and the challenges ahead, including the climate crisis, housing affordability, providing for the unhoused, and increasing equitable distribution of services and public assets. What does the new administration hold for how zoning addresses these critical concerns?

The Lecture in Planning Series (LiPS) is co-organized by the MSUP Program and second-year PhD students in Urban Planning: Light refreshments will be served. This event is open to Columbia University affiliates with a valid university ID. Any questions on the events can be directed Rossella Asja Lucrezia Ferro, rf2930@columbia.edu and Daniela Perleche Ugas, dp3167@columbia.edu.
