Foster + Partners Information Session

Wed, Jun 26    4pm

Taylor Fulton ‘16 MS.AAD and Jonathan Chester '23 M.Arch will facilitate a virtual information session to discuss working at Foster + Partners, San Francisco and some of their projects. A short presentation followed by a Q&A session will be held at the end.

Taylor Fulton grew up in the sunny city of Santa Cruz, California, and later relocated to San Francisco to pursue his Bachelor’s degree in Architecture at the California College of the Arts. Subsequently, he furthered his education by obtaining a Master’s degree in Architecture from Columbia University. Commencing his professional journey in New York, Taylor developed a keen interest in how architecture can adapt to societal changes within the built environment by exploring materiality, scale, and technology. Over the course of his career, he has gained experience working at renowned firms such as Bjarke Ingels Group and ODA. Currently, Taylor serves as an Associate at Foster + Partners within their San Francisco studio.

Jonathan Chester, originally from Massachusetts, obtained his Bachelor of Science in Architecture with a minor in French from the University of Hartford. He gained experience at various architectural firms such as Perkins and Will, NBBJ, and Bjarke Ingels Group before pursuing his Master of Architecture degree at Columbia GSAPP. Following his graduation, Jonathan joined Foster and Partners as a Designer at the San Francisco studio, where he contributes to projects throughout California. In his leisure time, Jonathan enjoys the balanced lifestyle that California offers, spending weekends skiing at Lake Tahoe or cycling along the coast.

The conversation will be moderated by TBA.
