Urban Planning PhD and Faculty Research Workshop I

Thu, Oct 5, 2023    1:15pm

The GSAPP Urban Planning Research Workshop Series is a luncheon for UP PhDs and faculty members to present and discuss their ongoing research. The workshops are held on Thursdays from 1:15-3 PM EST. At each workshop, two doctoral students and a faculty member will give brief (~20 minute) informal presentations on an aspect of their current work, highlighting two or three specific sticking points or questions that they are grappling with and would like to discuss with colleagues. The subsequent conversation will aim to support and engage with these ideas. The success of the series depends on faculty participation; beyond learning and supporting each others’ research, we envision these workshops as a space to build more community and connections within the program.

This event will be held in-person in 200 Buell North and virtually on Zoom. Visit this Zoom link to join the event remotely.

Organized by the Urban Planning PhD Program.
