DS+R Information Session with GSAPP Alumni

Anahit Hayrapetyan ‘16 MS.AAD, Quentin Yiu '19 M.Arch, and Quy Le '18 M.Arch, will facilitate a virtual information session to discuss working at DS+R and some of their projects. A brief Q&A session will be held at the end.

Anahit Hayrapetyan joined DS+R in July 2016. Since her arrival, she has worked on some of the Studio’s newest and complex projects such as the Shed, and multiple competitions including the Hungarian Museum of Transport, London Centre for Music, South Sea Pearl Eco-Island, and many others. She is currently working on MIT’s School of Architecture and Planning project in Cambridge. Prior to the DS+R, Anahit gained experience in China, Russia, and Armenia on multiple cultural and residential projects.

Anahit received a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design postgraduate degree from Columbia University in 2016. Prior to that, she received her Master of Arts in Architecture degree from Dessau International School and an undergraduate degree from Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction.

Quentin Yiu '19 M.Arch joined DS+R in 2019 and since his arrival, he has worked on a few projects of varying scale and complexity. Quentin is currently working on the Dallas Museum of Art competition and previously worked on projects including the New Museum of Transport in Hungary, the University of Sydney Susan Wakil Health Building, Museum of Fine Arts Bern competition.

Prior to joining DS+R, Quentin worked at offices such as REX and Buro Ole Scheeren, for projects such as the Perelman Performing Arts Center and Guardian Art Center.

Quentin has an M. Arch from Columbia GSAPP in 2019 and Bachelor from University of Hong Kong.

Quy Le joined DS+R in June 2018 and since then he has worked on multiple projects and competitions of various scales such as Columbia Business School, Prior Center for Performing Arts, Montparnasse, and Shenzhen Honey Lake Regional Park. He is currently working on a project in Tokyo.

Before joining DS+R, Quy worked at some summer internships and completed a non-profit Guga S'Thebe Theater in Cape Town, South Africa.

Quy completed his Master of Architecture at Columbia University in 2018 and Bachelor of Science in Architecture at Georgia Tech, Atlanta in 2015.

The conversation will be moderated by Cecile Kim '23 M.Arch.
