A discussion with Chiara Martinuzzi Architect and Urban Designer at UN-Habitat.

Chiara Martinuzzi, works at the UN-Habitat’s Global Public Space Programme since 2019. Trained as architect, Chiara focuses on inclusive and gender-sensitive urban design. Based in Nairobi, Kenya, Chiara facilitates training and participatory workshops with communities and local authorities in various countries to build capacities locally on topic of public participation and inclusive urban design. She contributed to develop tools and methodologies such as the Public Space Site Specific Assessment, Her City Toolbox, Our City Plans Toolbox and the Block by Block Playbook.

The conversation will be moderated by Jason Ahuja. Jason Ahuja is a student in the Critical, Curatorial, and Conceptual Practices in Architecture (CCCP) program. He studies urban geography, literary theory, and cosmopolitanism.
