SOM’s 2024 Winter Shadowship Presentation

Alice Fang ‘20 M.Arch and Intermediate Designer at SOM LA with Jacqueline Li, Structural Engineer at SOM New York will facilitate a presentation to discuss SOM’s 2024 Winter Shadowship program. A brief Q & A session will be held at the end.

Alice Fang is a designer from Sao Paulo, Brazil, based in Los Angeles. She graduated from Columbia University GSAPP in the Masters of Architecture program and was awarded the Alpha Rho Chi Medal and the William Kinne Fellows Traveling Prize. She currently works as an Intermediate Designer at SOM LA and, prior to graduating, worked as a design intern at MODU, Brooklyn, co-led the student organization LatinGSAPP, collaborated as an editor for Patio, and worked as a Studio Teaching Assistant and Fabrication Monitor at GSAPP.

Jacqueline Li is a Structural Engineer at SOM New York. She completed her undergraduate studies at Princeton University in Engineering and Architecture and her graduate studies at Stanford University in Structural Engineering. She joined the SOM San Francisco office in 2018 and transitioned to New York in 2022. Her current projects include the Los Angeles County Museum of Art—currently under construction—and the MARTA Five Points Train Station in Atlanta.
