Admissions Info Session and Q&A: Middle East & India Focus

This session will be co-hosted by GSAPP alumni from the region to share their experience at the School and career paths since graduation. Admissions staff will be available to speak about the application process and answer questions related to admissions and financial aid.

Alumni hosts are Hala Abukhodair ‘20 MSAUD, Mansi Sahu '11 MSAUD, and Priyamwada Singh '06 M.Arch. The event is co-hosted by the Columbia Global Center Mumbai.

Hala Abukhodair is an architectural engineer and now an Urban Designer with more than four years of experience working in the construction industry, Metro projects, and Municipal Urban Regulations across Saudi Arabia, Spain, and the United Kingdom. A recent GSAPP graduate, she currently also serves on the GSAPP Alumni Board.

Hala Abukhodair completed her MS in Architecture and Urban Design at GSAPP in 2020, and previously earned a Bachelor of Engineering from the Prince Sultan University, Riyadh.

Mansi Sahu is co-founder StudioPOD, an award-winning multi-disciplinary firm specialized in city planning and urban design. The international firm is headquartered in Mumbai with an office in California. StudioPOD is committed to designing and creating equitable, democratic, and sustainable environments within its practice and the places it builds.

Mansi Sahu completed her MS in Architecture and Urban Design at GSAPP in 2011 and previously earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Mumbai.

Priyamwada Singh is principal of common Ground practice, a New Delhi based practice she founded in 2013. Their projects span the fields of Architecture, Urban Design, Interior Design, and Research and Development, with a focus on creating ecological, culturally specific and contemporary built environments.

Priyamwada Singh completed her Master of Architecture at GSAPP in 2006 and previously earned a Bachelor in Interior Design at CEPT, Ahmedabad, as well as a post graduate diploma in Art and Architecture from the Städelschule in Frankfurt.
