Columbia GSAPP was pleased to have David Lee ‘02 M.Arch offer an introduction on the firm JJP Architects and Planners with an in-depth look at the recently completed Giant Group Global Headquarters, for which he served as Project Architect. The presentation ranged from commission to construction, exploring how architectural design helped Giant realize a new headquarters and cycling museum befitting their status as the world’s leading manufacturer of high-quality bicycles.
David Lee is an Associate and Director of International Affairs at JJP Architects and Planners. The firm was founded 40 years ago by Joshua Jih Pan, FAIA ‘67 M.Arch, recipient of Taiwan’s National Award for Arts in 2015 and the benefactor of a new scholarship fund at GSAPP.
