Ocean and Climate Science in the Age of Big Data: Communication, Transparency, and Reproducibility
Lecture by Spencer Jones
Spencer Jones is a postdoc in the Ocean Transport group at Lamont Doherty Earth Observatory. He studies how the large scale ocean circulation interacts with small-scale ocean processes to transport heat, salt and other ocean tracers around the globe.
This lecture is organized by the Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design Program as part of the lecture series “Techno-Critical Assemblies.” This ongoing series brings together a diverse group of speakers whose work addresses today’s most pressing challenges—environmental, political, social, and beyond.
