Center for Spatial Research: Current Work

Laura Kurgan, Professor, and Director of Visual Studies will present the current work of the Center for Spatial Research (CSR). A hub for urban research that links design, architecture, urbanism, the humanities, and data science. CSR sponsors research and curricular activities built around new technologies of mapping, data visualization, data collection, and data analysis. Currently projects include: Mapping the Politics of Care, The Urban History of Algorithms, Historical New York City and Public Interest Technology.
