Leah Meisterlin '06 MSUP and '09 MArch
Leah navigated the late 2000’s recession by developing her career in numerous ways including starting a research practice, working at the Buell Center, freelance consulting, and even waiting tables. She is now an award-winning professor and a well-respected expert in GIS theory and practice.

Sybil Wa BArch, H.Dist. '99, Carleton University
Sybil is an architect and adjunct professor who graduated shortly before the global recession resulting from the 9/11 attacks. She has been dedicated to sustainable design since the start of her career, and has received accolades from numerous media outlets including the Toronto Star.
