Patrick Albrand ’88 MSRED
Patrick Albrand, Senior Managing Director and President of Hines France, which he helped create in 1995. He is responsible for all development and coordination at Hines France, and has been instrumental in the establishment and supervision of Hines’ French subsidiary. He has been active in the implementation of both property development and investment management lines of business. With more than 1 million square meters developed or under development and approximately € 1.5 billion under management, Hines France is the commercial real estate leader of the French market.

Albrand received a Master in Architecture at Ecole des Beaux-Arts and a Master in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.

About the Doryan Winkelman ’86 MSRED Real Estate Development Lecture
The Doryan Winkelman ’86 MSRED Real Estate Development Lecture (the Winkelman Lecture) is an annual lecture for the M.S.RED Program on the topic of international real estate development. Drawing on Columbia University’s vast network of global leaders and prominent practitioners, the Winkelman Lecture brings together esteemed guests, faculty and students to introduce and examine key issues surrounding the complex demands of global urban real estate development.

The Winkelman Lecture was established in 2018 by Doryan Winkelman ‘86 MSRED.

Organized by Columbia GSAPP MSRED Program and the Office of Development and Alumni Relations.
