Giving Day is an annual online giving tradition at Columbia University that happens one day each year.
Contributions made to GSAPP on Giving Day replenish the Annual Fund, a vital resource used to improve the academic experience for GSAPP students, from tuition relief to travel stipends, facilities maintenance and other immediate program needs. Recently completed renovations include upgrades to studios in Avery; a centralized makerspace with the addition of dozens of 3D printers in Schermerhorn; and a new lounge, computer lab, and lecture room in Fayerweather. Meanwhile, construction on a preservation technology lab is underway.
When GSAPP students, alumni, faculty, friends and family participate in building these kind of resources for future generations, we exhibit our engagement as members of a global community.
Change lives that change the world — help build support for GSAPP on October 24.
