Making Senses

This course, MAKING SENSES, explores the use of sensors and data in experimental architectural assemblies through the design and fabrication of an Architectural Automaton. Students will investigate interactive applications of cybernetic feedback systems, integrating sensors to create harmonized digital and physical outputs. Alongside conceptual research, they will develop hands-on proficiency with computational tools, fabrication methods, and enclosure design, guided by the iterative prototyping framework. Studio visits, sensor workshops, and digital fabrication training will equip students with the skills and resources to customize and realize their interactive projects.
