Please join us tonight for [*Two Sides of the Border: Reimagining the Region,*](https://www.arch.columbia.edu/events/982-two-sides-of-the-border-reimagining-the-region) a conversation between internationally acclaimed author Valeria Luiselli (*Sidewalks, Faces in the Crowd, The Story of my Teeth,* and *Tell Me How It Ends: An Essay in 40 Questions*), architect Tatiana Bilbao, and environmental historian Sarah Lopez (*The Remittance Landscape*) at 6:30pm in Wood Auditorium. The event is organized by Columbia GSAPP as part of faculty Tatiana Bilbao's Advanced Architecture Studio VI entitled *The Mexican Dream: The Remittance Home.* The AIA Center for Architecture's [*New Practices New York 2018*](http://calendar.aiany.org/2018/01/03/new-practices-new-york-2018-opening/) exhibition featuring faculty Tei Carpenter of Agency—Agency, Nahyun Hwang and David Eugin Moon of N H D M, Adam Frampton of Only If Architecture, and alumnus Matt Burgermaster (MSAAD '04) of MABU opens on Thursday, April 12, between 6-8pm. At the Storefront for Art and Architecture, faculty Bryony Roberts and Mabel O. Wilson's exhibition [*Marching On: Politics of Performance*](http://storefrontnews.org/programming/marching-on-the-politics-of-performance/) opens this Saturday, April 14, and features a 5pm performance by Marching Cobras.
