Hannah Allawi, ‘12 MSAUD, is a registered Intern Architect with the AAA (Canada) and NCARB (USA), with over a decade of international experience in Canada, the UAE, the UK, and Japan. Johnny Chiu, ‘06 MSAAD is the founder of JC. Architecture & Design, a multidisciplinary studio based in Taiwan and the U.S., specializing in memory, identity, and cultural heritage through community-driven design.

Tania Tovar ’16 MSCCCP of Proyector hosts the launch of Projections: Exhibiting the Hidden at Head Hi in the City, the bookstore’s Archtober outpost, presenting five years of experimental, collaborative, and archival work that critically expands architectural practice and research beyond conventional boundaries. • e-flux Architecture commissioned a series of essays in collaboration with the 2026 MSCCCP Program cohort. Over the course of the month, the cohort will release reflections on the 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale, exploring the range of ideas, positions, and practices present across the exhibition. The first three essays from Yvonne Mpwo, Paula Volpato, and Ida Marie Hansen engage national pavilions, collateral events, and other facets of the Biennale, demonstrating the program’s alliance with experimental curatorial practice and critical discourse at the intersections of architecture, society, and culture.
• Faculty Hilary Sample joins the board of the Female Design Council advising on the organization’s strategic mission and supporting members’ professional growth and access to critical networks.
• Annie Coombs ‘10 M.Arch of brooklyn-based firm Siris Coombs Architecture featured in New York Times’ “Living Small” column for a new project in partnership with a Y.M.C.A. branch in South Dakota, to develop tiny homes for low-income residents.
  
• Faculty Lola Ben Alon joins the New Museum as a New Inc mentor. Over the next year, she will guide and support the artistic and experimental projects emerging from the program, fostering critical inquiry and interdisciplinary practice at the intersection of art, design, and innovation.
