ADJACENT: Paola Antonelli

ADJACENT is excited to host a conversation with Paola Antonelli at Columbia GSAPP!

Paola Antonelli is the Senior Curator of Architecture & Design and the Director of Research and Development at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). TIME magazine has described her as “one of the 25 most incisive design visionaries in the world”. In 2022, Alice Rawsthorn and Antonelli published “Design Emergency: Building a Better Future” and co-founded @design.emergency which explores design’s role in building a better future.

Christina Pollina Moushoul is a designer, editor, and creative producer. She most recently worked as the R&D Associate at the Museum of Modern Art and the Assistant Editor and Program Curator at e-flux Architecture. She was a co-founder and co-director of the design practice Office Party and Party Planner journal, which was awarded the Arch League Prize in 2024. She is currently teaching a course at the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University titled Publication and Display, and is co-authoring a forthcoming book with Paola Antonelli commemorating the first fifty MoMA R&D Salons which will be published by Inventory Press in 2026.
