The Paramount ‘Park’ Building

Times Square acts as an urban room, an anomaly of the city’s grid system, the space becomes a single entity that consists of billboard walls and streets acting as thresholds. The re-development of the Paramount Building responds to this notion and uses its historic theatre design to create an experience that merges public and private experience while bringing foliage into an otherwise concrete jungle, and becoming an anomaly in Times Square.
