Determining Best Candidates for Future NYC Open Streets

The popularity of NYC’s “Open Streets” has highlighted the overall lack of accessible outdoor community space for city dwellers. In order to increase the year-round availability of community space in NYC, a computational model was created in order to determine overarching guidelines for strategically choosing streets to be included in permanent NYC Open Streets.
