William Heishman has over 20+ years’ experience in commercial real estate (CRE)
banking/finance and real estate fund investment/management in both the U.S. and
Japan.
From 2004 to 2012, he was President of Infinity Mortgage Co., Ltd., (“Infinity
Mortgage”) a specialty real estate services firm located in Tokyo, Japan.
Prior to starting and operating Infinity Mortgage, Mr. Heishman was employed as
General Manager of SSJ Servicer Co., Ltd. from 2002 to 2004, a licensed Japanese
servicing company co-owned by Merrill Lynch and Ocwen, worked at Lone Star
Opportunity Fund in Tokyo from 2000 to 2002, and was in the Tokyo Office of Merrill Lynch
as part of joint venture with Lone Star from 1999 to 2000.
Mr. Heishman began his real estate banking and finance career in New York at
Chemical Bank from 1992 to 1996 before moving to Merrill Lynch’s CMBS Loan
Underwriting and Structuring group from 1996 to 1999.
Currently Mr. Heishman is the New York Representative of Stasia Capital, a medium-sized
Japanese financial adviser, whose clients are investing in CRE in the U.S.
Additionally, Mr. Heishman is Adjunct Instructor at the NYU Schack Institute of Real
Estate, responsible for teaching and developing curricula for the following graduateschool
classes: Comparative International Real Estate, Real Estate Finance, and Real
Estate Valuation and Feasibility.
Fluent in Japanese, Mr. Heishman is a dual MBA/MA in Asian Studies from Cornell
University and a New York Licensed Real Estate Broker.
