Uday Menon

Uday Menon has over 25 years of industry experience, most recently as a Big Data architect, helping organizations acquire competitive advantage by leveraging their operational data to improve decision making. His expertise spans the full spectrum of skills from ETL to Analytics. He worked as an Individual contributor who conceived technology solutions and lead teams to implement and deliver them.

Menon has a great interest in leveraging his industry experience in the classroom, teaching courses in Data Analytics, Data Science, and a wide variety of Big Data technologies. He is an excellent communicator who can convey the essence of complex concepts using simple but powerful design oriented language, drawing from real-world examples. Menon received his PhD in Decision Sciences from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in July 1992, PGDM from IIM Calcutta in 1981, and B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur in June 1977.
